~ Some Riverfest Music? ~

Let's go to a Riverfest...

Which one? What's going on this month?

Well, let's see...
* The Jazz and Fine Arts 'River Jam'...
* July 4th Carnival and Fireworks...
* Parkville Days Riverfest Arts & Crafts...
* A Taste of Parkville (Restaurants)...
* Christmas on the River...
And What have I missed?

And which one was this? I give up, they pretty much are all alike...
More Arts at one, more Music at another... But the same Vendors pretty much at most... And a Parade begins two of them...

There is also a Carnival at the 4th of July Celebration and another at the Parkville Days Riverfest...

And Fireworks on the 4th of July and more at 'Christmas on the River' after the Childrens Choir finishes their performance...

I think this was the Arts and Crafts Fest because of that big white tent they always erect at that one...

And this is still at the same one...

I like the Parkville Days Fest in August best, except for the heat... They usually have more animal displays at that one...

But except for the Fireworks, Parades, Music and Carnival, they are pretty much the same...

Now here is a display I could get interested in... That stuff was smellin GOOD! Big hunks of Beef!

But I wouldn't want this guy's job on that August day... It was HOT!

This is at Parkville Days Fest in August, and they seem to have the most vendors and the most attendance except for the Carnival and Fireworks on the evening of the 4th of July...

More Parkvile Days... Vendors start at the entrance to the park...

And continue on in... almost to the River...

And more of the Arts and Crafts Fest... The tents and vendors more spread out.

And more of the Arts and Crafts Fest...

This is for sure at the Arts and Crafts Fest.... Looks like we are attending a clay class...

The Arts and Crafts Fest proves I am no artist, I can't see the art in most of the stuff thay have displayed there...

And if by chance I did see something interesting... My comment is "You want to charge THAT much for THAT!"

This must be at the River Jam, not as many vendors at that one... and not many people except for the evening concerts... I can hear some of the performers at my place, a mile from the park...

But the vendors are fun... I look and sniff but I never buy anything... though some of that stuff looks great...

I just can't make myself pay $4.00 for a beer or $5.00 for a sausage... I have a cocktail before I go or for sure one afterward...

The big open tent full of 'Arts' and 'Crafts'... Never have seen anything in there I couldn't live without...

And the indivual tents for Arts and Crafts vendors...

What is it they say... One man's art is another man's trash? They got some trash at these things... Or is that what they call 'Junque'?

Afternoon at the 'River Jam'... Some have their chairs staked out for later while some musicians warm up on stage...

I think we have had enough of Arts and Crafts for one day.. so.....

Wandering off to the River at the Arts Fest...

But who needs a Riverfest when we got all that River to fish in?
